And The Truth Shall Set You Free

I despise racial politics, I despise those who champion the same no matter how they clothe themselves, if you participate in racial politics you are no better then Pik Botha and Hendrick Verwood, and in case you do not know whom I am talking about please go and search some of the South African apartheid pages in the web, you may get some information on these two characters.

The Tengku the founding father of this nation was once amongst the most vocal critics of Apartheid, and yet as we go along our Government seems to be looking more and more like one. The famous Nelson Mandela was incarcerated under a draconian law very much like our ISA today and if you look at the struggle of the "coloured" African people of South Africa you will be able to draw may parallels with our situation today.

So I despise UMNO, MIC, MCA, Gerakan that claims to be multiracial, the same party that said there were no qualified candidates other than the Chinese candidates for the last elections and whose acting President was swept away by Prof. Ramasamy in a Chinese majority constituency by a Chinese majority electorate, a clear indication that Malaysians have become fed up of all those lies and racism that permeates the Barisan Nasional.

Today I am talking about the truth and how it will set you free, this is addressed to all politicians in Malaysia.

Why is it there is no hue and cry about the moral issues behind Chua Soi Lek's elections as Deputy President of MCA, and why is it not a day goes by when someone does not take a pot shot at Najib and his alleged involvement in the murder of Altantayu.

Is there a racial bias, here? Is it that Malaysians are now in the mood for both UMNO bashing and Najib bashing, that they leave Chua alone and let him be, and target Najib no end.

This is the difference, Chua Soi Lek came out clean, he openly admitted that it was him in the tape that was being circulated and he apologised to his wife, his children, his constituents.

He did not use the political office he held to try and shoo shoo the whole episode and deny everything and to get people to say the tape was "doctored" etc. The whole nation watched as the truth unfolded and almost as quickly as he had admitted his wrong doing the people forgot the whole episode. It cost him his Ministerial post, and as soon as he stepped down the people began to realise that he did indeed reshape the administration and efficiency of Government Hospitals, people started talking about his good side.

Funny how soon the whole episode was closed, and how he got reelected to the second highest post in the party months later.

FUNNY? No not funny, it was the "Truth" the truth set him free.

There are others in higher office in the Barisan Government tainted with such scandals, that people have not forgotten as yet, the talk is still rife about one politician and what allegedly happened in Port Dickson and the whole issue was denied, swept under the carpet and shut out, or is it really shut out? Could he have been filmed as well, and is it that the person who has the tape is waiting his turn to become rich?

Then there is the case of Altantuya, there is a SD by a former cop who was involved in the case implicating a Najib, the cop is missing and Najib was not even bothered to see where this man went to bring him to the open and clear his name.

What is even more intriguing, is that persons like Raja Petra Kamaruddin are perceived as a threat to the Nation and is locked up without a trial by an incompetent and highly suspicious police force.

Why incompetent?

The filming of a minister in the privacy of a hotel room is a case of National Security breach. The person who had done such a thing could have well blackmailed the minister. Imagine what will happen if Najib is caught in such a compromising position, then all one has to do is to wait for him to assume the role of PM and blackmail him and the whole nation will be at the mercy of a blackmailer without even knowing it.

And yet when this camera was set up in a hotel room, the police have not up till today caught those involved in the case. Are they waiting for a Police report to be made? I am sure they do not need one this is a case of a National Security threat and they seem to be taking it very lightly, and Raja Petra is seen as a threat to National security, who are they kidding.

One wonders if that is the case right now, this Government the UMNO led government has corrupted the judiciary to the extent that the lawyers have no confidence in the legal system they serve. Are all these manipulations in succession the handing over of power etc. something to do with behind the scene blackmail? No matter how youlook at it, it is tainted, there are issues that are rather shot down and shut up, like the PM vouching for Najib. It shall continue to be the case, this Government is working on the premise that with time people will forget, they forget to remember that this is th e-information age and people will nto rest tilll the truth is known.

It is only the Truth that has the ability to set anyone free.

Thailand sentences ex- Prime Minister to 2 years jail.

REUTERS report from Thailand.

"Judges on Thailand's Supreme Court sat in Bangkok on October 21, 2008. Thailand's Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra had violated a conflict-of-interest law while in office and sentenced him to two years in prison." Reuters report/Chaiwat Subprasom

Blog Commnets

In Thailand they can charge and prosecute a PM in court and when he is found guilty by the courts there is no special treatment, that is Thailand.

IN Malaysia any UMNO man leave alone the PM will be spared if UMNO deems it necessary to spare him for any crime, on the other hand if UMNO deems a person a threat to UMNO they do not require the courts they just shut him up like the did RPK and the rest of those arrested and held in detention under the ISA at the pleasure of the Home Minister, the son of a medicine man from the Celebes, they call the Lion.

Wonder if this home minister is half cat that will explain a lot of things.

Can we draw a parallel between the UMNO led Malaysian Government and the Burmese Junta now?

The UMNO Dynasties Revealed.

An UMNO dynasty is in the making, on the one hand Government is being manipulated by a party (UMNO) and on the other the party is being manipulated by a handful of scoundrels who are making it their own turf.

The top positions in UMNO are theirs for the keeping and so too it will be I guess in the next generation, the surest safeguard against being prosecuted for corrupt practices for a few generations, that is to say the least.

In pole position and going for the Presidency is Najib Tun Razak, going for the Deputy is Muhyiddin Yassin, who is older than Najib. Going by today's standards Najib will not leave the post once there, not Najib for sure so Muhyiddin can expect a DPM's pension if he wins the deputy presidency of UMNO.

The seat of DPM will go to Hishamuddin - Najib's cousin, he is in the race for a VP's slot, he'll keep it patiently for Najib to announce Muhyiddin's successor in the future. Notice how Hishamuddin has the most nominations for Vice Presidency? Muhyiddin himself may have been contemplating the Presidency but did not dare try it, as he was sure the mamak would have sniped at him and got him out for sure.

Following Hishamuddin is the son of the Mamak, Mukhriz Mahathir who will fill Hishamuddin's slot once he gets elevated to DPM, and do not be surprised if Mukhriz does a number on Hishamuddin the same way Mahathir did Hussein Onn.

The only sad thing is that if the sooth sayers are right, the Mamak will leave the scene within two years of Mukhriz ascendancy, (whenever that is) to the Youth post, for the Mamak's sake Mukhriz might as well delay his quest for the post and give it to Khairy this time, but the greed for power will not allow this to happen, as much as I dislike the Mamak I want him to be around a while longer for Anwar to get his day with him.

So the next three Prime Ministers will come from a families whose fathers have been Prime Ministers before, these are the anointed ones, this is typical, its becoming like Indian politics, it is like the Nehru/Ghandi clan, and this country will carry on with a breed who will then look like the leadership of this nation belongs to them, they already feel that way.

The worrying part of this entire ordeal is that the UMNO membership can't actually see through this scheme,or refuse to see it through fear of their own survival in the party which offers so much benefits to cadres, PAS has long seen it, and so too has PKR, the UMNO top layers of the UMNO membership are well fed by this dynastic group that they just decide to allow it to carry on, the same applies to the MCA, MIC and Gerakan.

The East Malaysian Barisan men are in a world of their own, they do not seem to have a semblance of pride, they have not entered the quest to become Prime Ministers of Malaysia, they'll leave it to the minority Bajau or Melanau, the so called Malays of the East, and they have accepted it as their fate I suppose.

Perhaps someday there will come some new UMNO leaders who will see through this scheme, but when will that day come?

Nur Jazlan Mohamed, the only candidate without any baggage has attacked Mahathir, any wonder why he is not being nominated, but it is more because the divisions that dare to nominate him will have to pay a price and they are not prepared for it. The know and fear the Mamak as he awaits, he got rid of a PM what are division and branch heads. Nur Jazlan is serving his last term as a Member of Parliament, adn that is because this young Charted Accountant is good, he is too good to be kept around, he'll spoil the party so they have to get rid of him.

Najib may make an ambassador of Nur Jazalan or make him a director of some UMNO led corporation, it is a shame that good talent instead of being nurtured get wasted, but that is how the dynasties survive.

Now are you still wondering why Mahathir Mohammed just swept aside all young talent in UMNO and why he left the party without any credible leader?
